THE province of Pampanga, long known for its beautiful women who have won national beauty pageants and represented the Philippines in international tilts, has two statuesque and gorgeous bets for the upcoming Miss World Philippines Pageant to be held at the Theatre of Solaire in ParaƱaque City on October 18.

Emma Mary Francisco Tiglao, 20, from Mabalacat City is candidate no. 12. Standing 5’8”, Emma is a familiar face and figure in recent national pageants. She was elected as Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 1st runner-up, Bb. Pilipinas 2014 top 15 finalist and Miss Casino Filipino 2014 2nd runner-up.
Now in her best fighting form, Emma’s previous experience in other national tilts has taught her to recognize her strengths and weaknesses and to focus more intensely on her goal to win a national beauty title.

A BS Tourism Management graduate of Holy Angel University in Angeles City, Emma has long yearned to win a national beauty crown and represent the country with pride and honor in an international pageant.

Jessica Rose Mangalindan McEwen, 18, from Floridablanca, Pampanga, is candidate no. 17. Standing 5’7 ½”, Jessica is an AB Communications major at the Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City.
Jessica, whose father is from New Zealand, was a top 10 finalist at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 pageant. Before that, she placed as second runner-up at the Mutya ning Flores de Mayo pageant in Pampanga.
Emma and Jessica have been regularly training for the Miss World Philippines pageant at the Kagandahang Flores (KF) boot camp. KF head Rodgil Flores is upbeat about Emma and Jessica who can possibly bring home KF’s first ever Miss World Philippines crown.
After the talent competition at the showroom of Manila Pianos in Makati City last Monday, the 27 Miss World Philippines 2015 contestants will compete in the sports challenge (patterned after the Miss World sports event) at the Quirino Grandstand tomorrow and the fashion runway challenge during the Gala Charity Night at a still undisclosed venue next week.
Reigning Miss World Philippines and Miss World 2014 quarter-finalist Valerie Weigmann will crown her successor at the grand finals on October 18, to be hosted by Miss World 2013 Megan Young and broadcast over GMA Network.
